5. USE OF ACCOUNT

You may be provided with an account to log-in through the SIMI Website for various purposes, including but not limited to, your role as a SIMI Partner, your capacity as a SIMI Mediator or as an appointed SIMI Reviewer. 

It is your responsibility to ensure that you protect the confidentiality of any passwords issued to your for the purposes of accessing your account. SIMI staff will never ask you for your password. 

The account that has been issued to you is intended for your authorised use only. It is your responsibility to ensure that no one else is allowed to access your account or otherwise compromise the security of your account.

You will not transfer your account to any other party without our prior written permission.SIMI reserves the right to revoke your user account should you fail to adhere to these Terms.

 

6. PAYMENT TERMS

If you make payments through SIMI’s website, you agree to the SIMI Payment Terms, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms, and will be made available to you prior to your making such payments.

 

7. PERSONAL DATA POLICY

The SIMI Personal Data Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms. You are encouraged to read them as they will be updated from time to time. The policy is available on SIMI's website.

 

8. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. 

 

9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

All disputes, controversies, or differences arising out of or in connection with These Terms shall first be submitted to the Singapore Mediation Centre for resolution by mediation in accordance with the Mediation Procedure for the time being in force. The parties agree to participate in the mediation in good faith and undertake to abide by the terms of any settlement reached.

 

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

SIMI may change these Terms from time to time without notice. All such changes to these Terms will appear on this page. You are encouraged to check regularly for changes to these Terms. By using the website following any amendments to these Terms, you agree to be bound by any such amendments to these Terms.
